We need your help

CGA is gearing up for our second show and we need help

CGA Show Crystal River was fun. We just think with a bit of community support we can really be something great. We are re-arranging our Main room. Instead of a dedicated Video room we will have a dedicate Panel room. We will still have anime playing. But not nearly as much. So we need people that would like to discuss different topics. It can be how to paint models, discussions on anime, scifi or anything related, you could even host a game show. Let us know what you want to do.

Also we have Tabletop gaming area. We will need help organizing different games and tournaments. We would like to see more of the Tabletop community at our show. We are giving you a place to interest new people into your favorite past time. We would really like to have MTG, Pokemon and yugioh Tournies. But unless we have someone to run them they will not happen.

On top of everything else we plan on beefing up ourVideo Game tournaments. But unless there is a good turn out for the different games it really is not impressive. Do you think you have what it takes to get people motivated let us know.

You can always email us at sales©cgashows.com

It's over and we have a lot of people to thank

We are so happy. Your so Happy. Let's spread the Happy.

There are a lot of thanks to go around. Almost 350 people attended the First CGA Show. And I would like to thank all of you. Without you we would not be able to do it again. And to our dealers you guys are troopers. Taking a gamble and coming to a show with no track record. That is amazing. I know some did not do so hot. But we tried the best we can.

Pika Belle Chu worked hard for our show. We were so happy to have her there helping out (even if her car tried to deefen us). And Linda Gross did a lot of work for us before the show. We would like to keep her around. Maybe we could teach her how to actually sleep instead of working all the time. On the Same note the Ghostbuster Guys, R2 Builders and the 501st Squad all added flavor to the show. Making it more interesting and bumping up the costume quality. You guys are fun ad always welcome back. Oh My God I almost forgot to Thank Diana and the Anime Spot Club from UCF. They did panels and stuff. They were great help. Especially since I called them in at the last minute.

I want everyone to go to Gamer HQ and give them thanks for helping before and at the show. And while your there pick up a bottle of Bawls. Its the only place I know to get it around here. Alex from SEADS Lan Parties rocked the console gaming. He came all the way from Miami to give us the networked gaming experience.

I will apologize for a couple things. I am so sorry my DDR Machine broke just before the show. And for some reason my PS2 that runs DDR... actually everything DDR related seemed doomed at this show. We are already working on how to make the next show better. Better video game tournaments. Better food. More dealers. And hopefully more events. Also we lacked on Table Top Organization. That is something we hope to have fixed next event. If anyone would be willing to give us a hand in fixing the show to make it even better please email us.

Now for the most amazingly simple and what seemed almost too fun for what it was. NINJA SLAP. Yes I do not know what it was about that game that made it go on for hours. But it was hilarious.

Thanks to everyone we hope to see you soon.

Food Drive Info

You may have noticed that we are doing a food drive. You bring us food and we give you a discount to get in.This food is being donated to the Mission in Citrus County. They are helping the Homeless. At sometime or another we all are almost homeless. But there are those who are always homeless. The Mission supports both. They have residences all over the county that helps Veterans, Teen mothers, people livingin the woods, practically anyone. So bring food. And consider dropping some extra money to help. Bringing food is a great start but a dollar or two is better.
